The Jockey has re-opened following an extensive refurbishment and enlargement. Now more of a restaurant feel than a pub but definitely an up-market move. The Sunday lunches we had (beef, pork, and chicken) were better than remembered with separate potato and vegetable choices designed for each of the meats. The desserts were fewer in number but all 3 enjoyed very much. It is nice to see somewhere that appears to be extensively using local produce of good quality. |
