Strensham
This time in a party of 6. As always, the food was superb and the drinks and service very very good. The only reason I don't give it an overall 5 is its location - very limited street parking (although the car park is a 5 minute stroll away).
Back again, but this time under Covid rules. Menu format has changed but it is still offering upto 7 courses from a choice of circa 20 items. Everything beautifully cooked and presented with enough time between courses to also enjoy the fresh bread (sesame loaf and apricot & walnut loaf) to start and the amuse bouche of soup. As they still had a couple of bottles of my favourite Valpolicella it would have been rude not to! All in all another superb meal in lovely surroundings with excellent service and for a reasonable cost.
Brilliant! Small, intimate, friendly, knowledgeable staff, Michelin star food, good wine, good value for money.
